5 Months!

Happy 5 Month Birthday Talon!

Rolling Over!

Here is a video of Talon perfecting his roll over! He is an old pro at it now!

Zoo Trip for Family Day

Mike and I took Talon to the zoo for Family Day and had a blast! It was a beautiful day again, 14 degrees! Here are the pics!

Rolling Onto Tummy!

One minute Talon was on his back, the next I looked over and he was on his tummy! He did this twice in a minute before I got to see how he did it! Here is a picture of his first roll over on February 21st!

Sleep!

Talon and I have started sleep training as I was getting in the habit of having him sleep in my bed after he woke up in the night. At my mom class I was told to read The Baby Whisperer from one of the few moms whose baby was sleeping through the night. I owned this book but hadn't taken the time to read it yet. She is wonderful! I followed her instructions on sleep training and was thrilled to find that it took from Tuesday night to Saturday night for Talon to begin sleeping through the night! Now he sleeps for 6-7 hours at a time in his crib. Alone. Without me. Ahhh sleep.

Kisses!

Talon loves to give kisses on my face, it is the sweetest thing! He will grab my face (or hair) and pull himself towards me for a big wet one!

2nd Tooth!

Talon got his second tooth on February 19th! We weren't expecting him to cut teeth this soon!

Jean Buddy

This is Talon playing with his cow that is attached to the pocket of his jeans. What a great idea! He is never without a toy when he is wearing these jeans.

A Tooth!

Last night I felt in Talon's mouth and the tip of his first tooth is poking through on the bottom middle left of his mouth!

More Milestones

Talon seems to change almost overnight and I notice he achieves a few milestones at a time. His new favourite toy seems to be his feet. He grabs them whenever he can and is starting to pull his socks off.
He also has started blowing raspberries which is the cutest thing. When he wakes up in the morning it usually begins with a yawn and a raspberry.
He has started to pay attention to our dog Zim. He really watches him now and smiles when he runs by.

Rolling Over, Almost!

Talon has been rolling onto his side in the past few weeks. Mostly to see where I am in a room and to make sure he isn't alone. He cranes his neck to make eye contact with me wherever I go. He has rolled from his back to his side and went onto his tummy once already!
