We took Talon to the Markham Fair on the weekend and plopped him up on a horse for his first carnival ride. Again, a metrestone. I went on the first go-round with him and thought I had a pretty good position holding him on the horse. Until. It. Started. Moving. FAST. I was standing on the inside position holding him as he went higher than I thought he would and, let's face it, I'm not tall. The carnie yelled at me to stand on the inside lane and I thought I was going to dive into the mechanisms of the ride as I tried to navigate around the horse's...um rump.
As we went round and round (and round) Mike was sure to get lots of photos of some guy with his kid. I swear, we have like four. Great action shots, and it wasn't too sunny, I think we'll frame them.
On our way to the fair!
