Talon Dancing

This has to be one of the funniest videos we have taken of Talon. Here he is dancing to music he likes to turn on himself. He does a few moves, the "lean back", the "turn around" and the "conductor"!

Playing with His Car

I don't know where Talon picked this up, but he has been driving his cars going "vroom, vroom!" I guess it's a boy thing? It's so cute to watch him totally immersed in his toys!

Talking

Talon is saying a few words!

- He says "Uh, oh" when something falls on the floor (including food he throws).
- He said "jah jah" when he sees another baby or kid (I'm sure it's a word in another language.
I'm looking into it).
- He says "mama".
- When we say "no" he shakes his head repeatedly and then attempts to do whatever it was he
was going to do.
- He says "yah" when you ask him a question which is really cute. Here's a video of it.

Standing On His Own!

Talon can stand up on his own! I think the scratchy grass on his hands spurred him on.

Almost Standing On His Own!

Talon is able to stand now, for very short periods of time on his own! He also loves walking holding onto your hands, but they must BOTH be holding his hands, or else he will sit down lol. He's really good at the bottom drop when he isn't feeling confident that he can stand on his own or move from one place to the next holding onto the furniture (although he is working on this one and is getting pretty good at it!)

Another thing he does is laugh hysterically at something, which in turn makes us laugh. He does this over and over. I have a video here of him doing it. He works himself up to the biggest laugh and it's so funny!

Also...psst! He's getting some hair!

Talon's Mouth Popping

On Tuesday Talon finally mastered the trick Daddy has been waiting for him to learn, mouth popping! Here's a video.

Trip to the Park!

We took a stroll in Talon's new red wagon from Grandma and Grandpa and headed to the park today. Here are some photos and a video of him on the swings!

Dancing and Whistling!

Talon has discovered how much fun dancing is! He was dancing at Grandma and Grandpa's with Grandpa and I watching. He wiggled his little butt and it's so cute!

Today Talon was crawling around and just started whistling! I was so surprised to hear him! It was hilarious!

Jump, Jump, Jump!

Talon LOVES his Jolly Jumper. LOVES IT. LOVES. IT. Look at Talon go in the video!

New Way of Crawling!

Talon has discovered an easier way to crawl, and I think it will only be a matter of days before he masters the crawl. He is no longer dragging his body along the floor, but doing a mini-push up and then reaching ahead of himself to move forward! Mike calls it an inchworm, I think that's an appropriate description!

Tummy Time

This video is from a few weeks ago when Talon was just starting to lift his head up on his tummy. He tries so very hard!

Olympic Torch in Stouffville!

On the early morning of December 17th, the Olympic Torch passed through on Stouffville Main Street on its long trek to Vancouver, British Columbia. Talon, my mom and I braved the minus 13 degree weather for a glimpse of it. I remember watching the Torch run as a child in 1988 with my mom and sister and thought it was a great opportunity to create a memory for Talon. Even though he slept through the entire thing.
