New Toy!

So Talon has been intrigued by a new "toy" on his change table. Any guesses? A HAIRBRUSH! Yay! After almost a year, we finally have use for it! His hair now even sticks up in the day on the top of his head and I find myself smoothing it over (which I used to do thinking "grow already!"). Hope to have a picture up soon!

First Step!

Talon took his first step last week! Both Mike and I were there to see it which was amazing. I was so worried I'd be at work and miss it! I had my arms outstretched to him and was encouraging (okay, baiting) him to walk to me. He took one step, and voila! Milestone!

Standing On His Own!

Talon can stand up on his own! I think the scratchy grass on his hands spurred him on.

Almost Standing On His Own!

Talon is able to stand now, for very short periods of time on his own! He also loves walking holding onto your hands, but they must BOTH be holding his hands, or else he will sit down lol. He's really good at the bottom drop when he isn't feeling confident that he can stand on his own or move from one place to the next holding onto the furniture (although he is working on this one and is getting pretty good at it!)

Another thing he does is laugh hysterically at something, which in turn makes us laugh. He does this over and over. I have a video here of him doing it. He works himself up to the biggest laugh and it's so funny!

Also...psst! He's getting some hair!

10 Months!
