We had a wonderful time in Niagara Falls with Talon!
We usually visit once a year and this was the first time we brought Talon. In fact, the last time we went to Niagara Falls I was very pregnant and due in only a few weeks!
We did a whole lot while we were there! We got passed to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, the Wax Museum, the Ghost Blasters Ride and the Sky Wheel. Talon was a daredevil on the Sky Wheel! He was banging on the windows and had no fear of heights!
Talon enjoyed the rides in the midway and had a great time steering the cars!

Some New Things
- So Talon hates the word "no". He starts angry crying and gets so mad.
- He also freaks out when you put a blade of grass between your hands and blow on it to make it squeak. He FREAKED out and started crying :(
- He also has figured out how to go limp after I say "no" to something and remove him from it. It's so hard to carry him that way!
- Talon has discovered Zim's water bowl, aka, his new wading pool. This is where I discovered his distaste of the word "no" and his ability to go limp!
Some good things:
- He has mastered clapping to music and it's the funniest thing!
- He learned to dance in Jamaica and shakes his booty!
- He climbs stairs! When I turned around for a second and he was up five steps!

Trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica!
We had a wonderful trip to Montego Bay! Talon had SUCH a good time and we enjoyed it very much!
Talon was amazing on the plane ride and slept for most of it both ways. We gave him a bottle for departure and arrival so that his ears popping wouldn't bother him and he was excellent.
We stayed at a fantastic resort where the beach was mere feet from our hotel room! We had a nice patio to sit out on when Talon napped in his crib. We enjoyed all the great food and entertainment and Talon learned to dance there! He also learned to crawl on his hands and knees and enjoyed shouting in the hallway, "Ah!"
We took a trip into Ocho Rios and Talon was so well behaved on the bus! We visited Dolphin Cove and swam with stingrays, snorkeled, saw a shark show and petted dolphins! Talon bit the dolphin, Mitch, on the nose when he leaned in to kiss him!

A Week of All New Firsts!
So this week Talon learned to:
- Pull himself into standing position! I caught him doing it holding onto his tent in the bedroom.
- Laugh when someone is laughing. He finds it hilarious and will imitate you!
- Blow a raspberry on my face. Funny, and wet!
- Laugh when someone yawns. I think he thinks we are smiling.
- Yelling. He will say "Ah!" and if you repeat it he will too, it's a fun little game!
- Tried meat for the first time. He had carrots and chicken that Daddy made for him.
- Pull himself up in his crib! This morning I came in to get him and he was standing up waiting for me! It did make nap time a lot harder today though as I think he was too excited with his new skill to sleep!
He also got two more teeth! He got his top right centre tooth on Sunday May 30th and the left one next to it the next day! He had been sleeping a lot because of it and waking up in pain at 2 a.m. He seems to always get teeth in twos! Now he has six!

Trip to the Park!
We took a stroll in Talon's new red wagon from Grandma and Grandpa and headed to the park today. Here are some photos and a video of him on the swings!

Dancing and Whistling!
Talon has discovered how much fun dancing is! He was dancing at Grandma and Grandpa's with Grandpa and I watching. He wiggled his little butt and it's so cute!
Today Talon was crawling around and just started whistling! I was so surprised to hear him! It was hilarious!
